  1. Day 27 of my whole30 yesterday and my chiropractor tells me "it looks like you don't have chronic pain syndrome anymore" I've had it since 2014.
  2. I have an office job, and I find myself tempted to go and buy food a lot out of boredom. Does anyone get this? And how do they combat it?
  3. quite eye opening and I'm wondering if anyone else has been in a similar position. I completed a whole 29 (don't ask!) in April and I felt great. I have tried some sugary bits (e.g. today when my boss brought in a home baked gluten dairy free cake for someone's birthday) and it makes me feel HORRIBLE now. Big headache and like I'm going to be sick. I didn't react this badly to sugar before the whole30 and I have a similar reaction with alcohol now too. has anyone else experienced this?
  4. Reading others in the forums it appears I'm not alone, which is comforting when I'm not on a whole30 I tend to crave alcohol, then I drink alcohol, then I feel crap and my sleep is crap and my stomach isn't happy, then I always vow to not drink it again or in the same circumstances, and then a few days later I see myself on the same track. Has anyone managed to break this cycle/intervene before it escalates to the guilt/regret stage?
  5. I don't believe this. The past 30 days have been eye opening. day 30 at lunch time I fell, had a glass of wine with my lunch....smh... however, it made me feel crappy, and I guess my reintro has started early! i am tempted to make tomorrow my official day 30. I would like to eat w30 for a bit longer, as everything is much better but my eczema is still clearing up and my allergies too. I have an event on 7 May which people are baking for me specially (I am coeliac), and i can't say no here and I'm happy to work around it. Sorry not much of a point to this post just getting it off my chest, I feel crappy
  6. thank you
  7. day 28, awh yeah
  8. day 21.
  10. can you taste it and then spit it out (gracefully)?
  11. have you read food freedom forever?
  12. Extending the whole 30 can indeed be beneficial for those with longer-term health conditions.
  13. I have a disordered relationship with food. I have found these are massively impacted by anxiety, self esteem and blood sugar/ hormone regulation. The whole30 is helping with all of these, so I am feeling less urge to binge. I have not had a "w30 compliant binge" either; today is day 19.
  14. I found eating three meals a day actually helps my migraines (vestibular migraines), due to its positive impact on hormone regulation and blood sugar. Can someone help you make the third meal?
  15. I take baclofen (which has lactose in) and fluoxetine. I absolutely cannot come off these, and I am getting results from my whole30 still (day 19).
  16. day 19.
  17. yep, gotta starve the sugar dragon.
  18. can you post a few days of what you have been eating and drinking?
  19. sometimes food can cause a delayed reaction, what else have you been eating in the day?
  20. Mhmm very true. i was feeling really tired and "meh" today, and I realised I haven't had any particularly starch veg. Sweet potato wedges with turkey burgers and 2 fried eggs and now I'm laughing at disney songs
  21. today is day 12 and no problems with staying on plan. Just quite tired and headache-y with brain fog. Tomorrow my boss is going to bring in cakes for our team meeting. She is an amazing baker and they taste amazing. She also makes an effort to make them gluten and dairy free for me due to my coeliac disease and lactose intolerance. I have fallen off the bandwagon before here...and everyone will be eating delicious cake in front of!!!
  22. thank you xx
  23. I survived the meeting, just, but now I'm sooo hungry from the smell of cake haha
  24. 13 days whole30, so 13 days without alcohol
  25. thanks all, wish me luck...
