    So excited to create a recipe that allows my favorite meal and keeps me compliant! I baked two potatoes and scooped out the insides to use in place of flour/cornmeal. Mixed crab meat with potatoes, chopped red peppers, chives, egg, old bay, and toasted almond slivers for crunch. Made patties and browned in ghee, then set in oven. Served with the whole30 tartar sauce over frisee. Perfection! Actually better than the "original" because the potatoes stay moist. Two baked potatoes with equal crab makes six crabcakes.
  2. Hi Guys! If you want to wow guests at dinner this is the recipe! It's a little bit of work but a crazy crowd pleaser! Mango and Jalapeno Crab Ingredients Brown Crab-2 medium Mango-1/2-diced Cumin-1 tbsp Jalapeno-2(I freeze mine) Chilli powder/paprika-1/2 tbsp Onion-1 Garlic-3 Ginger-1/2 inch Red chilli halved-1 Coconut milk-200 ml Medium Tomato-1 Olive Oil-1 tbsp Instructions Make a coarse paste of the onion,red chilli,garlic and ginger. Heat the oil in a deep Pot or a pan.Add the onion paste.Saute for 5-8 minutes till light brown. Blitz the tomato into a puree and add it to the pot once the onions are the right color. Add the cumin,diced mango,jalapenos,paprika and season with salt.Cook for 5 minutes. Add half cup of water and crab into the pot.Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame. Pour in the coconut milk at this point.Bring it to boil and cook without the lid for another 10 minutes. Garnish with cilantro and serve

    Hello I am new to the whole30, just going to start and I wanted to know if the following ingredients are allowed (I searched and found nothing on them) Sodium Acid Pyrophoshate Calcium Disodium EDTA Citric Acid Sodium Metabisulphite Also is there alist anywhere of the prohibited "chemically named" ingredients that I can look at? or a guide on how to read labels? thank you in advance
