MGoins
I am curious how these three pre-natal supplements stack up again the Pure Encapsulations? I've seen them listed as the three best for Paleo pregnancy. About to begin taking pre-natals and want to make the best choice! Thanks! http://www.ultralaboratories.com/EmeraldLabs/Prenatal%20Multi/index.php http://www.supernutritionusa.com/simply_one_prenatal.php http://www.rainbowlight.com/certified-organics-organic-prenatal-vitamins-certified-organics-prenatal-multivitamin.aspx
SpinSpin
All 3 have folic acid, and i have read that folate is better for pregnancy. I use Mega Food baby and me prenatals. Ok... sends you off in another direction and doesn't answer your question, but I am happy with these.
askins
I have taken the Rainbow Lights since TTC my first child, so it's been 3 years on them. I like them - they are gentle on the tummy, which is a great thing to have during first trimester "all day" sickness! Can't speak to the nutrition -- I just started paleo. I am happy to hear they are paleo-friendly though.
Renee Lee
Melissa mentioned the one she took here: http://forum.whole9life.com/topic/6315-compliant-pre-natals/ She also gives you permission to take that one while on your Whole30 If it's good enough for M&D and Chris Kresser to recommend, it's good enough for me
clmccull
I have sensitivity to zinc and so am currently taking a gummy prenatal that only has 3.7mg as opposed to the standard 15 mg. I am hoping to start the Whole30 process, but am concerned the added sugar in the gummy will hinder my attempts. All of the recommended prenatals including the one recommended by Melissa have higher doses of zinc. My question is, will the 3 g of sugar in the gummies ruin my chance of having a successful Whole30?
delicate_flower
I take Seeking Health Optimal Prenatals. http://www.seekinghealth.com/optimal-prenatal-240-vegetarian-capsules-seeking-health.html It specifically excludes gluten, corn, soy, dairy, and GMOs.
