MrsStick Posted August 22, 2013 Share Posted August 22, 2013 I just bought half a cow today. It won't be ready for a few weeks, but it's grassfed/finished and antibiotic free. I visited the farm with my hubby today just to make sure. They're a small operation, but they have meat chickens, they're in the process of getting more chickens so they can stock their eggs at a local health food store. Oh, and the pastured turkeys for Thanksgiving/Christmas. And meat lambs that will be ready to slaughter in a few months. I guess we'll see how often I eat it; I'm assuming that, based on our current consumption, it'll probably be 3x week. ...can you tell I'm excited?
