Is Sherry Vinegar approved

Is sherry vinegar approved if I can find a sulfite free version? If so, does anyone recommend a sulfite free version?

 

Are red, wine, champagne vinegars approved? Was confused by the wine vinegars.

But, it has to only have naturally occuring sulfites, right? Do you know of a compliant-brand?

Yeah, are any brands ok? Or are most non-compliant?

Look for the words, "contains naturally occurring sulfites" on the label. Your best bet is to go with organic brands, but many grocery store brands are compliant as well.

Thank you for this reply Tom. I was going to search that one next. Now I will see if I can find unseasoned rice vinegar and coconut vinegar. Since your post is 3 years old, rules about the rice vinegar could have changed.

As long as it doesn't have non-compliant ingredients added (sugar, sulfites, caramel color, etc) then any vinegar with the exception of malt vinegar is fine to use during your Whole30. You don't have to search the forum for every possible type of vinegar, just read the ingredients labels
