savedbygrace
This is my first whole 30 and I'm going to a Korean restaurant tomorrow. I don't know Korean food well enough to know what might be safe to order. Any suggestions? Thank you!
GFChris
Do you have a link to their menu online? That would be helpful. Moving this to the Travel and Dining Out forum.

GFChris
Hmm ... I think soup would be tricky. You'd need to be sure it doesn't have any nasties like sugar/sweetener, gluten, MSG, or soy. The steamed pork might be a possibility, perhaps see if you can get steamed vegetables with it? Maybe call ahead and see if they can do that for you? I realize it's not very exciting and doesn't give you a fat, but it would be a compliant way to go.
Brittany Long
Could you maybe ask for the chicken and sweet potato with no sauce? Also ask about the kimchi! It's suppose to be really good for you!
Chrystee
What did you decide? Kimchi is great, but you have to be careful, because sometimes there is MSG added.
GlennR
What did you decide? Kimchi is great, but you have to be careful, because sometimes there is MSG added. And sugar (in kimchi). After a monumental search for compliant kimchi in groceries, I came up with nothing: all of them have sugar (except for one brand that is always sold out).
