john_solo
What's the difference between Whole 30 and the 21-Day Sugar detox, from a diet perspective?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted April 24, 2012 Moderators Share Posted April 24, 2012 The Whole30 asks you to detox from a lot more than just sugar.
karrottop
I was wondering the same thing..does the 21-day detox only limit the quality and quantity of sugar/sugar sources for each week of the three weeks?
Technology
I also think there is a big difference in mindset. Detoxes usually conjure up some nightmare regime you stick with for a very short while and then you're back on your own. The Whole30 is a much gentler reset with advice on how to take it forward and create new better habits.
Johnny M
The sugar detox has you even remove things like fruit from your diet but otherwise isn't as strict as whole30. If you're debating each I'd advise doing a whole30 and if you find yourself constantly craving sugar and overindulging in things like fruit, you could try the sugar detox. It should help get over your sugar addictions but the whole30 tends to do that regardless.
