Remster2011
Any menu recommendations for eating at Cracker Barrel?
GFChris
I think it would be extremely difficult to eat compliant at a Cracker Barrel restaurant. Quickly glancing their menu: - maybe hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit for breakfast- lunch or dinner, maybe a hamburger (would need to check cooking oil and ensure no nasties in the burger itself or seasonings), plain grilled chicken (same questions) and steamed broccoli I'd pretty much suggest eating elsewhere during a Whole30. Whole30Nai
I recently had the good morning breakfast (2 eggs beaters, turkey bacon or sausage, sliced tomatoes, grits and fresh fruit) but adjusted it with 3 eggs (in lieu of the beaters and turkey) and gave the grits to my children. Might be a good idea to add fruit to it to make it more filling tho.
simplelife4real
I'm Celiac. They have a special gluten-free menu that I use to order. While it doesn't list sugar-free items, their menu gives me a pretty good idea of things I can eat. I usually have the broiled fish or grilled pork chops for my entree when I eat there. I get green beans and fresh fruit for sides.
