newwhole30er
Hi everyone! I'm looking for a good, Whole30-compliant, chicken lettuce salad recipe that people who are used to a SAD diet would like too. I've googled of course and have tried a few, but haven't found a recipe I've loved yet. Do you have one that you love? I'm thinking of something with romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, maybe mango or avocado or pecans or all 3, and a sweet-ish dressing (I guess from juice). SimpleNotEasy
The ingredients you mentioned sound like they would make a delicious salad! If you have a Whole Foods near you, they sell a brand of dressing called Tessamaes which has several compliant flavors (as always, check the labels to be sure). The Balsalmic one is kind of sweet and it's delicious. Just run it under warm water (or put it in a cup with some warm water for a few minutes while you assemble your salad) to melt the olive oil since it hardens when chilled. Then shake well.
