shaimom
Can I carry on taking them during my whole30? I see they have artificial sweeteners in, and they're chewable, so I'm not sure... The label says: Ingredients: Mannitol , Sorbitol , Dibasic Calcium Phosphate , Modified Cellulose Gum , Vegetable Stearic Acid , Silica , Natural Strawberry Flavor This product contains no peanuts, eggs, dairy, soy, wheat, yeast, gluten, tree nuts, crustacean shellfish, fish or other animal byproducts. Carlaccini
I would say no - leave them out for your whole 30. Any type of sugars or sweeteners are out for 30 days. And besides some people really react badly to sorbitol and mannitol. Unless they are Dr prescribed - then that's another story. But if you really *need* to take vitamin B12 and Folic acid - find a replacement supplement that is compliant. But personally I think you will be probably consuming a good deal of B12 and Folic acid - so you might not need them.
praxisproject
Your chemist can usually help you find cleaner brands. Mine has been great, but there's a few things I get from my naturopath (special B12 for MTHFR). Chewable ones often contain extra ingredients that don't provide anything other than taste or texture. shaimom
Thanks! I think I'm getting enough anyway, I'm eating so many different veggies.
Thunder 6552
My wife has been told by her doctor to take b12 and vitamin d supplements. Any suggested brands that are compliant?
