I already boycott a number of the big brands for various reasons but this kind of thing (apart from supporting local business) is a big part of the reason why I insist, when possible, on buying local...

Fortunately I live on the east coast and I can buy seafood fresh from the boat that caught it. I only buy in season fruits and vegetables. Stuff from other countries is suspect since some use human waste for fertilizer. I can't wait for the farmers markets to open again.
