JJ2016
I couldn't find anything on my turkey meat except it's "all natural turkey" so I looked up the company's website and it mentioned they have attained the American Humane Certified seal on their products. Does this mean anything or is not whole30 compliant?
Administrators ladyshanny Posted January 2, 2016 Administrators Share Posted January 2, 2016 I think this probably refers to how the birds are treated during their lives and their ultimate demise. Whole30 encourages people to select the best meat possible but it is not a requirement of Whole30. That said the ingredients list is KING around here, if there are no noncompliant ingredients, the product you mention should be fine. Check also for teensy print that says something like (contains less than 2% carrageenan, soy, sugar, dairy etc) because those still count as non compliant ingredients which would put the meat off limits for your Whole30.
