From the little I've read, it's not really necessary.  You should get the necessary nutrients in the variety of whole foods you're eating.  You want to steer clear of anything that claims to curb your appetite, suppress cravings etc... you need to learn to listen to what your body is saying and learn new ways of coping with cravings etc... there's no magic pill to kill a sugar dragon unfortunately... you just gotta starve the sucker out!

Fat is your friend.

Fat gives the same release of dopamine to the brain that sugar does but without effecting blood sugar - so all of the pleasure with none of the pain.

If you have a craving that won't pass with a distraction technique grab some olives, or a spoonful of coconut oil  ;)
