SamL
I'm looking to buy some paleo cookbooks. Only getting 1 or 2 now,but I want to put together a list. So which ones do you use over and over?
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted January 25, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 25, 2016 The Well Fed cookbooks by Melissa Joulwan are definitely my go-tos. She's got tons of recipes on her website if you want to get a sense of what they're like.
Danananda
I second the Well Fed cookbooks - I credit Melissa Joulwan for teaching me HOW to cook - and to LOVE cooking!
Hannlib
Yep. Well Fed 2 is my favourite but I love them both.
MTNan
I'll jump on the Well Fed bandwagon! Of the two, I also prefer WF2 if you can only get one right away. I also like NomNom Paleo's app which has recipes and lots of pictures.
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted January 25, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 25, 2016 There are a lot of good cookbooks out there but the Well Fed and Well Fed2 ones are almost exclusively Whole30 recipes (and she tells you what to leave off if there's a non compliant ingredient). As well, she's got the hot plates system of cooking and meal prep which can make your life so much easier. Her recipes are a great mix of comfort faves and new ethnically and internationally inspired flavors that will become your new faves! If you can only get two books, get those and if you can only get one, grab the 2nd one!
WholeMama
I just ordered both Well Fed books since I am constantly googling her recipes and because it's Whole30 based (why change a good thing?). I also cook a lot from nomnompaleo so that's on my list too.
