clbon
I've been mixing Great Lakes gelatin (for protein) with crio bru and blending with a little bit of coconut oil (for fat) as my pre-workout meal and wondering if this is ok? I do cardio (running/elliptical or spin) first thing in the morning and I can't stomach anything solid in my stomach right before without feeling like I'm going to throw up. I do eat some lean protein and carb right after usually chicken breast and sweet potato. Thanks!
Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 28, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 28, 2016 I would always prefer you chewed your meal instead of drinking it, but this is acceptable as a pre-workout meal.
kirkor
Also preWO isn't as big of a deal for cardio as opposed to weights, so depending on how intense you go, you might be fine with waiting to eat 'til afterwards.
praxisproject
Template soup is another good option without being a solid.
