Sugar Free

Are you seeing the sugar listed in the ingredients or the sugar listed on the nutritional panel?  All tomato products are going to have naturally occurring sugars but should not be hard to find without sugar in the ingredient list.

 

The ingredient list is king on Whole30.  Broth may be more difficult to find but making bone broth is quite easy with a crockpot... you can google 'whole30 bone broth' and get a ton of hits!

Both Muir Glen and Hunts Organic tomato pastes had no sugar when I looked over the weekend (I live in NJ for regional reference). And the canned, chopped fire roasted tomatoes I bought were fine too. Broths are a bit harder and I've had better luck finding vegetable broth than I did chicken or beef (I found zero compliant beef broths).
