katerpa
I am a Pescatarian and getting ready to reintroduce foods. I know that in the book "it starts with food" it is stated that full fat dairy may be OK. (Butter) I'm wondering about 10% full fat Greek yogurt. Would that be a good option for protein and fat for a Pescatarian? Or does everyone think 0% Greek yogurt with the poteen only is better?
kirkor
That's the beauty of riding your own bike: you get to do whatever you want! But to somewhat address your specific question: >Or does everyone think 0% Greek yogurt with the poteen only is better? *shudder* good lord no! Moderators ShannonM816 Posted February 6, 2016 Moderators Share Posted February 6, 2016 You'll have already noticed that whole30 doesn't fear fat, so we'd have no reason to recommend nonfat anything. When I just really want some yogurt when I'm not on a whole30, if I can find the full fat version of Greek yogurt, that's what I personally choose. If I can't find full fat, I choose 2% over nonfat. But you are definitely welcome to choose whatever version tastes best to you or if you notice a difference in how you feel with one versus the other, get the one you feel better eating, that's what life after your whole30 is about. katerpa
Having been trained for so many years in the low-fat diet this will be a stretch but I'm ready for it! Thanks for all the input!
