Protein Salad Recipes

Hello there!

 

I am on day 3 now and im LOVING the easy protein salad! its a great option for lunches at work! Ive been trying to brainstorm new salad recipes. so far i came up with these:

 

tuna salad: tuna, celery, onion, hard boiled eggs with ranch dressing

 

buffalo: chicken, buffalo sauce, celery, carrots,

 

Italian: chicken, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, red onion, Italian vinaigrette

 

fruit walnut: apples/strawberry/raspberries, walnuts with raspberry walnut vinaigrette

 

 

I would love to hear some of your favorites to get some more ideas!!!

Just a quick note that this has no protein in it and would need to be paired with 1-2 palm sizes of protein in order to meet the template. Ideally you would also add 1-3 cups of vegetables.  Nuts are a fat and fruit should not push veggies off your plate.

thanks ladyshanny. Yes, I forgot to mention yes there should be chicken there for the fruit walnut. and yes i do plan to add either a spinach,romaine, or kale as the base for all my protein salads, then chicken/tuna/salmon/eggs as the protein mixed with the basic mayo or other fat base. For the fruit walnut salad i wasnt sure what veggies would go good with it....so ill have to experiment
