Jgreenberg
I am on day 6 and my 5 week old has been unusually fussy. Could she be experiencing a sugar crash as well? How can I make her feel better?
Stephg45
I'm having the same problem! My baby is almost 4 months and I have been relying on sugar for most of my pregnancy and up until I started whole30. I'm on day 3, and he is unusually fussy. Hope it ends soon! SarahSchroeder
From what I understand about breast milk nutritional qualities, the amount of sugar in your breastmilk is independent of how much sugar you consume. So even if you binge on sugar the amount of sugar your baby gets is optimal and not too much. That being said they can respond to the foods that you eat and some veggies are supposedly irritating to babies digestive systems
Dani26.2
I'd assume it was the added veggies -- especially green ones -- that are causing the fussiness. Green veggies -- especially raw ones -- can cause a lot of gas in BF babies... Make sure you're cooking the dark ones (kale, collard greens, cabbage, etc)
