Hello,

I'm sorry for reposting this question.  I'm new to this and initially posted in the "Join the Whole30" Forum and didn't find this forum until after my earlier post.  Please read my question below.  I've googled and couldn't find anything specific about this type of vitamin.  Thank you.

Hello,

I am on day two of the Whole30 and took a One A Day Women's Vitamin this morning.  After taking the vitamin, I looked at the ingredients list and grew concerned about the length of the list and began wondering if any of the ingredients are noncompliant.  The ingredients are listed below.  Can someone help me out?  I know I probably should not have taken the vitamin until finding this out, but it's habit for me.

Thanks,

Kamille

A few thoughts. 1) You probably don't need a multi-vitamin while doing a Whole30 because you will be eating nutrient dense food. 2) I would not want to consume that list of ingredients and don't think they could possibility help with improving health. 3) Technically, this vitamin appears to be compliant with the Whole30 rules.

Tom,

Thank you very much for your response.  I hadn't paid much attention to the ingredients until starting the Whole30 and definitely agree that the length and names of the ingredients don't seem too beneficial.  I'm glad that they appear to be in compliance, but will hold off on taking multivitamins since the food I'm eating has what I need.

Thanks and on to day 3 of my first Whole30!
