MarleneRenee
I am on Day 8. Although my long fingers can hold 5 eggs, I've been eating three. I have found that three eggs, power-packed with veggies and fat, have been challenging for me to get down. HOWEVER, today I went back to the gym (I took last week off as my body adjusted to my new eating plan) and when I got home this morning, I downed four power-packed eggs without any trouble and thoroughly every single bite!! tmhampton1
My go to breakfast is chicken apple sausage, 3-4 eggs and sauteed cabbage.
Nicole_HSV
Hey, what brand of chicken apple sausage are you buying? I'd love to get some, too, but haven't had the patience to read all the labels yet; I'm on Day 3 and am already getting a little tired of eggs for breakfast. Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted April 26, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 26, 2016 Hi Nicole, You can't trust that the same brand others have found are compliant. Different ingredients show up in different regions, believe it or not. So you really must do your due diligence and read the label on anything you intend to eat. Hopefully, it won't require that much patience because ideally whatever you buy will have a relatively short list of ingredients.
MarleneRenee
Nicole, I bought Aidell's sausage from Costco. I like to remove the casing and put it in the food processor to grind it up a bit and then add it to my eggs.
Lissa Kristine
Aidells is my go-to brand as well. I like to keep some on hand for quick meals. In the event I have a last-minute babysitting job, my plan is to pick up a bag of frozen veggies and a package of those sausages for my dinner.
