Mygr8kids
Ingredients: Filtered water Almonds Sea salt Locust bean gum Gellan gum Sunflower lecithin Natural flavor Or would the hidden stuff be listed under vitamins/minerals? I can't find the hidden sugar and I'm not sure what carrageenan is..sorry if this is a silly question I'm so new to this :-)
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted April 21, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 21, 2016 If those are the ingredients, this is fine. Carrageenan would be listed as an ingredient if it were in there. There's a list of some of the names sugar or other sweeteners may be listed as in this download, but none of these ingredients are. If you're worried because the nutrition information lists grams of sugar, that's naturally occurring sugar -- Just about everything has some naturally occurring sugar, including almonds and other nuts. Those are not what Whole30 worries about, otherwise we wouldn't be able to eat any fruits or vegetables.
gemininurse
Really? I'm excited now! I thought the sunflower lecithin made it non-compliant. Now I can drink my cold-brewed coffee with almond milk (although I do have a batch of almonds soaking to make my own).......
