colleen9234
These are OK, right?... As long as there is no added sugar? (This is my first post !) Thanks!!
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted April 27, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 27, 2016 As long as there's no off plan ingredients of any kind. That includes sugar or other sweeteners, msg, soy, grains, dairy... It can be hard to find compliant broth/stock, you might want to look into making your own. colleen9234
Thanks Sharon! That's what I thought. Do you know of any compliant broth brands?
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted April 27, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 27, 2016 I think I found some Pacific brand that was, but they had a lot of varieties that weren't, so it's really just a matter of going to the store and reading labels. If you want to order online, there's a few brands on the Whole30 Approved page, but that's not really helpful if you want to use them to make something in the next day or two. If you end up not being able to find any and you're wanting it for a recipe, you can probably use water and just up the seasonings and salt a bit.
