mcaethad Posted April 28, 2016 Share Posted April 28, 2016 I'm closing in on the end of Day 27 but the last two nights I haven't been hungry at supper time at all. I ate a bit both nights because I know i'll be hungry before bed at some point but I have found I'm having a hard time finishing anything at night the last two nights.I have been having a later lunch than usual (easier to cook while the kids settle down for quiet time and eat without interruptions around 2pm) Would that be causing the problem?i wake around 7 and try to eat before 8. Then lunch is sometimes at noon but sometimes gets pushed back to 2pm. Then dinner would be around 630-7pm depending on how long it takes me to make it and when my husband gets home from work. jmcbn Posted April 28, 2016 Share Posted April 28, 2016 A lot of people experience some loss of appetite at some point during their 30 days.That said the fact that you're eating lunch later than usual may well be responsible for your lack of hunger. Do you think it's a lack of hunger due to the shorter gap between lunch & dinner, or an actual loss of appetite? I think the two feel different...If it's lack of hunger then maybe cut back on the size of your lunch.If it's a lack of appetite hold tight, and keep trying to eat a template meal as NOT eating will only perpetuate the problem. Go for bland comforting foods like mashed potato, scrambled eggs, chicken soup, or broth, or try foods with strong flavours which will tickle your taste-buds...You're almost there!! mcaethad Posted April 29, 2016 Author Share Posted April 29, 2016 Thanks I thought it might be just the later lunch so I made sure to eat before one pm today. I had Chipolte carnita salad with the tomatillo salsa and some guac. I did make dinner for about 645-7pm tonight. I used Well Fed's Elvis Burger with fried yellow plantains and steamed broccoli. I was able to eat most of the veggies and a few bites of the burger but I was full and am still full now 2 hours later. I like the idea of the bland comforting foods and the spicy foods. I made Well Fed's Lizard sauce to go with the fried plantains (dusted with cumin, sea salt, and lime juice). I will push forward again. I'm a bit in shock that I'm so close to the end already.
