Round 2...slump

For some reason my post was blank. Here it is!

I completed my first w30 on March 10. I had so many NSV's, I went for a slow roll reintroduction, committed to a major lifestyle change. I basically figured out grains of all types are not generally worth it to me...way too many side effects I was never aware of until w30, and I continued eating mostly w30 with intentional off roading.

A few friends were starting April 18th, so I decided to do it with them, and challenge myself again, but since it had become a true lifestyle change for me, I added new goals of strength building, and regular exercise...knowing the significant changes from the first round were really still in place.

We are on day 13 and it took only about 6 days for my "tiger blood" and better sleep to kick in...definitely easier to reset when I wasn't really eating that poorly! But now, I'm in a slump. I want an occasional glass of wine, or small scoop of ice cream, and I find myself mad, because I "can't" have it, and I'm having a hard time staying positive this round.

I am a walking whole30 advertisement, and really believe in how what we eat and expose ourselves to impacts our health and wellness! If anyone else has ever been in this position, I would love hearing how you "re-centered"
