Hello all!

My name is Jessica and today I am spending my day prepping, grocery shopping, and getting ready for my first day of my Whole30 which I will be starting tomorrow May 3rd. I already cleared out my kitchen, went public and have friends who either started a week before me or are going to join me in on this, as well as discussed with my family that I will be partaking in this journey.

I am excited and nervous to start. I have done paleo before for about six months and remember how great I felt then, and am hoping that after this I will get rid of my bouts of idiopathic hives, have less fatigue, and be able to be as physically active as I was before I gained 50 lbs a year ago.  I work the night shift and have never been much of a cooker, so prepping is going to be my biggest challenge, but also my biggest point for success.

Is anyone else starting tomorrow?

You should probably start here -- it has all the information about the rules of the program and everything you need to know.

Hey! I am also starting tomorrow and I am super nervous. I am doing the Whole 30 by myself, my family is so far supportive but they will not be joining me so I'm nervous about all of the tempting foods still in the house. I decided to go through with this challenge because after my first year of college, I have unfortunately gained the freshman 15 and find myself turning to food for comfort more than I ever have before. After reading other testimonies, I am certain this will be the fresh start I need to health eating for the rest of my life! I am excited to start and complete the Whole 30 and see all of the amazing changes that are going to happen! I hope by posting this, and having all of you for support, we can all be successful together.

I'm in today too. I was all about starting on Sunday, until Sunday happened. So I'm glad to see there are a few other people starting today too.

This will be my second Whole30. I finished my first in January and felt really great. Things have just slid back into crazy. I'm excited to get back on track and have some people with whom to share the ups and downs : )

Day 1 was great.

I'm definitely feeling the hangover today though, achy head and grumbly stomach. Fortunately, it's a short day at work and I have "chili" waiting for me in the crockpot. I kind of just want to curl up and relax.

Hope you guys are faring better today!

How is it going for everyone?? So far, I am really enjoying this process. I have always been a picky eater but I am finding that I really do enjoy eating a lot of different vegetables! The weekend was a little tough; Saturday and Sunday are usually the days I splurge, but not this weekend! I have really been craving ice cream and sweets lately.

I am enjoying it as well, because I have never cooked before, so I am learning to cook and I am enjoying what I'm eating. I am craving sweets pretty intensely, but I'll be okay. Trying to maintain the swing of prepping, since that aspect of it is so new to me. Sound like you're doing great!
