lwasko Posted May 3, 2016 Share Posted May 3, 2016 After reading the Can I Have? section in the book, under "Sausage" on page 68 it says "remember if there is any form of sugar in the ingredient list the product is out for the whole 30, even if the label says "sugar 0 grams" So this is probably a super obvious question but if there are NO forms of sugar in the ingredient list, but there is "sugar 0g" or "sugar _g" (as in having grams of sugar), is it still compliant/natural sugars that we are allowed? I just want to start off on the right foot and not second guess myself. Thanks guys! I'm super excited to start this with my husband tomorrow!!! Karen_Suep Posted May 3, 2016 Share Posted May 3, 2016 When looking at labels, try looking only at the ingredients. That's really where you'll find whether something is compliant or not. I find that the nutrition part throws everyone in for a loop as nearly every plant has some form of carb or sugar naturally occurring, where as meats are normally proteins and fats (unless combined with a plant products like apples) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
