I am on day 5 of my second W30. My blood sugars have normalized and at times, plummeted. I do take a blood sugar lowering drug and am meeting with my endocrinologist today to talk about cutting the dose in half.

What makes me wonder is why I don't eat this well all the time. I'm seeing dramatic results right away. I saw dramatic results with the first W30 three years ago.

It's amazing what eating appropriately can do. Our bodies know.

A lot of people need to cut blood sugar lowering drugs as Whole30 really brings stability to your blood sugar.

Before Whole30 I was Prediabetic (only not diabetic as my blood sugar didn't stay high), really erratic fasted results.

If you have your own measuring tool, I recommend testing your fasted blood before eating in the morning (don't worry about the rest of the day unless you normally do it for medication).

I was really surprised it was better than low carb (previous Atkins girl), but I've found grains and dairy really mess with my blood sugar.
