Staying on Whole30

Recommended Posts

SO I am about to finish my first Whole30 after 1 restart. I am really scared to go back to how I was eating, but I plan to do the reintroduction anyway because I know the diet is not really meant to be a "forever" thing and I shouldn't be feeling "scared" to go back to eating other foods. However, I also feel scared because I don't know if I met my goals which is to be 100lbs and also lose the belly I have on me. I also have made more goals for myself during the Whole30 which is to stay healthy. I want to be toned and I want to be fit. So what I guess I am wondering is if I should do the reintroduction next week or continue until I feel I have reached my goals?

Your best bet would be to re-introduce foods you feel you may come across in the next few months of your health journey... will you be faced with Grandma's rhubarb pie in the next few months and need to know how you react to gluten for instance?

There's nothing to say that you can't use the Whole30 as a dietary roadmap for continuing on your health journey but we want you to be informed about how foods affect you... maybe that bit of sugar in ketchup isn't going to impact your plan but dairy is a gateway food to going completely off the rails... you need to know this to make a WholePockystickz plan to find your way to your goals...

Does that make sense?

I see, I am going to be going out with friends during the Summer I have off from school. So I know I will encounter lots of unhealthy foods. I will do the reintroduction then this week, thank you so much for the tremendous help through my journey!
