lucilletwo
Hi all, I'm getting ready to do my first Whole30, reading the books and all that. I am a little confused about kombucha being compliant, as it has a small amount of alcohol in it- from just under .5% to up to 3% depending on the brand and the type. I thought alcohol was totally out for the Whole30? I've searched the forums but haven't found an answer to this. Does anyone know why kombucha is compliant as long as it doesn't have added sugar or other noncompliant additives? I really love kombucha and would be super excited if I could keep having it every so often, but want to fully commit to the program in hopes of finding relief from fibro pain and IBS symptoms. Thank you so much for your help, community!
jmcbn
Answered in >this thread<For future reference the best way to search the forums is via Google - type in Whole30 + your query (in this case something like alcohol kombucha' and you should get a number of hits from old threads.Enjoy!
