Auntir80
Really excited and want to try to implement some things starting June 1st. Is that a bad idea?
MummyAbby
Hi I'm on day 7 of my first w30 so not really in a position to advise but I can tell you my experience! I had already started eating 'clean'(er) for the month leading up to me starting. I'd also cut out dairy as my baby was reacting to it through my breast milk. I heard about the whole30, was interesting but didn't think I could do it whilst BF so planned to start in September when my baby would be 6 months and therefore starting to wean, but then found out I could. I gave myself a start date of a week from then. The problem I then had was that I fell into the 'eat all the things' trap. Not completely, but I started snacking more and eating crap which previously I was avoiding, because I knew I wouldn't be having any for 30 days and therefore 'had to' have it now. The fact you've chosen a specific date makes me think you've got something happening before hand which would make it difficult to start before then? If not I'd suggest maybe bringing the start date forward a bit. If there is a reason for you to start then then you have plenty of time to plan, research meals, buy stock ingredients etc. There's no reason I can think of why you can start implementing some things now. Good luck!
