khillmiller
I love avocados and am just learning the secret of substituting them where mayo used to be. Went to a cookout last night and took this potato salad.http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-lagasse/cilantro-avocado-potato-salad-recipe.html . OMG...apparently ALL the cilantro lovers of the world were there, because I had none to take home! (I think you either have the gene to love cilantro or hate, no in-betweens) I called it my guacamole potato salad
Kaelisan
Yes, there is actually a cilantro-taste gene. Some people taste soap when they eat it. I have the love-cilantro gene.
Whole30 Certified Coach littleg Posted June 2, 2016 Whole30 Certified Coach Share Posted June 2, 2016 Is that true? When I was a kid and we would go out for Indian food I would have to send the dish back if they didn't actually listen to my request to not sprinkle cilantro on top... my whole meal tasted like soap if there was cilantro as a garnish. But now... I love cilantro. When I make salsa I think its half cilantro
