Starting my first Whole30 on August 1, 2016.  I have a couple of work buddies who are starting at the same time.  We have the books and we have the motivation (different for each of us) and now we have each other.  We'll keep you posted.

Hi Alicia! I'm in. I did the program a few months back and once off I slipped into my old habits. I'd like to join your group!

I'm going to try and sign in every day during my Whole30 and update on how the group is doing.

I am starting my Whole30 on August 1 as well - 2nd one for me.  I did my first one back in March/April and I felt so incredible during the experience. I started it the first time with the mindset of just getting through a 30 day challenge and to see if it would help with inflammation in my joints.  It helped so much that now that I am completely off the rails again, my body hurts.  I am going into this Whole30 with the mindset of making this a lifestyle in the future.  I would like to get it to where I eat on program 90-95% of the time after the program, but still enjoy the occasional glass of wine and eating out.

I look forward to using this forum again for support and ideas to beat food boredom!

I am starting August 1 as well and I'm currently reading It Starts With Food and doing other prep work (collecting recipes and tips, clearing the house of certain foods etc) I foresee my biggest challenge in giving up dairy and alcohol. Looking forward to having this group to share the experience. Good luck to us all!

Hello! My name is Katherine and my husband and I are beginning on August 1 as well! This will be our first time. I have a lot of experience with clean eating but after getting pregnant with our son I fell off the wagon big time. He is now three months old and it is time for me to clean up my eating habits. I am hoping this will help with my sugar cravings and clear up my acid reflux. I'm excited to get started!

Hey guys! I am starting W30 August 1 also and I hope we csn be a resource for each other. I started wirh W30 last March. I completed a bunch of W5s, 15s, etc., but I really want to challenge myself to stick with it for 30 days again. I hope to use the next few days as prep time, aka, stocking my freezer full of food.

Here is to an awesome 30 days!

Starting my whole 30 with my boyfriend August 1st! I'm a little nervous but it's something we both really want to do. We've both noticed that our clothes have been fitting a little too tightly lately and both of us suffer from digestive issues. The hardest struggle for me will be not eating non compliant food at work (I'm a nanny for 2 unfortunately unhealthy eating girls) but as long as I keep us busy I usually do pretty good. I'd also like to start working out again so I'm hoping that once my "tiger blood" kicks in I'll have the energy I'm fairly active now I'd just like to build back some of the muscle I used to have when I was younger.

Here's to a great 30+ days!! (:

I tried to add all the August 1 people as my friends on here! Not sure what that means exactly but I did it!

LOL, it means absolutely nothing........from a forum perspective.  ;)

I would love to start with the August 1st group as well please - would love the team support!

I did Whole30 a few years ago but have packed on weight in the past year and feeling uncomfortable.

Weight loss is definitely a big motivation (about 15kg / 30 pounds to lose) but I also want to find my energetic healthy self again and remove the food cravings (sugar, cheese, wine)!

I would like to join as well please. This is my first W30 and am a little nervous. My family supports me, but I will be doing this alone. I am worried about my temptations since I do the shopping and cooking. I still have to buy food and cook for them so cleaning out my pantry/fridge makes it more difficult. Thanks!

My only challenge will be fueling up for the gym.

Be prepared for an 'adjustment period'.....  ;)

Seriously though - you may find the first 10-14days or so a bit of a struggle as your body learns to tap into it's fat stores for fuel, but once you're there it should be plain sailing, and if it's not we're hear to help you tweak.....

Good luck!

Hello everyone, I will be starting my second round on August 1st as well. My first round was fantastic, I did it with my husband, my mother in law and my two children ages 5 and 2. My 5 year olds teacher asked me what we were doing different as she saw ana amazing level of steady energy and focus in my child :) cant wait to do it again. We will all be doing it again and a local friend is joining us. I still feel like I need the support as we have had a hard time doing another round or maintaining our lifestyle.

Thank you

Hi all! I will be starting my 4th round of the Whole30 August 1st. Im excited that my boyfriend will be joining me for this amazing ride too! I am a Kindergarten teacher who is about to start another school year. With all the stress the beginning of the year can bring, the Whole30 provides a sense of control while making me feel amazing at the same time! Can't wait to do this again!

Starting my 3rd Whole30 on Aug. 1!  All my experiences have been great - I struggled with the first one a bit, but managed!  I've started meal planning this week. I plan the entire 30 days, keeping in mind any events or appointments that might derail me.  For example, I have work lunch scheduled for Day 13 or 14.  I've already contacted the other attendees, suggested restaurants that I have allowed me to order W30 friendly in the past, and know a couple of options that I can order for lunch.  No panic on that day!

My biggest concern is that I am moving during the 30 days.  I try not to pick time frames where things like this pop up, but, after coming off two vacations and a stressful few weeks which resulted in bad eating habits returning - I NEED this! My body is definitely craving a W30.

Good luck to all!!  :)  :)  :)
