Shiva
Are naturally occurring sulphites in vinegar Whole30compliant?
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted October 24, 2016 Moderators Share Posted October 24, 2016 As long as they're naturally occurring, yes, they're fine. For future reference, most questions that you might have have probably been asked before -- try googling Whole30 + whatever you're looking for, so Whole30 sulphites vinegar for instance. It's often faster than waiting for someone to answer, and google searches seem to work better than the search function in the forum.
LindaS
How do I know if sulphite is naturally occurring in vinegar? It is listed in the ingredients - does that mean it's added or natural?

If, after the ingredients list or somewhere separate from it, it says Contains Sulfites, it's naturally occurring.
LindaS
Good, because I emptied both my red wine and white wine vinegars down the drain last night and used Apple Cider vinegar instead! Then I got thinking that I might have been able to keep them, but they both listed sulphites in the ingredient list.
