I bought some last night at whole foods thinking there was no sugar and then I looked again when making it this morning and noticed there is sugar. It might be easier to make your own with ground pork or turkey or whatever meat you like. If you Google whole30 sausage patties, you can find several recipes, or leave the sugar out of this one: http://www.homesicktexan.com/2008/02/breakfast-sausage-to-begin-day.html?m=1. Note that this will be very spicy as written, you'll need to play with the amounts of pepper flakes and cayenne to adjust to your own tastes if you're not into that much heat.
