Seaberg
I am preparing to do my first Whole 30 and have a question regarding the amount of fat to include per meal. My plea for clarification stems directly from the Whole 30 PDF entitled "Meal Planning". The printable states to add fat in the following amounts per meal and lists seven items such as oils, fats, olives, coconut, avocado, etc. Surely I don't add ALL of those things to each meal, right? I'm trying to envision a palatable meal that combines olives and coconut. Thanks for your assistance and patience with me as I start this exciting journey. ArtFossil
1-2 thumbs (or the equivalent) of fat (per the template) per meal, selected from the allowed fats. NOT all fats at every meal. I focus on clarified butter (ghee) and homemade mayo, supplemented by olives and avocado. Cooking fats generally don't count as so much stays in the pan. Fat(s) are ESSENTIAL for success. And delicious!
