Wakey
I'm on DAY ONE of Whole30 and am trying to figure my way around one issue... I have serious GERD - one of the things I hope to reduce with the program. Until it improves, I'm hugely dependent on remedies like Tums and Pepcid AC. Homeopathic treatments don't work for me and "toughing it out" isn't an option. Is there a Whole30-compliant Tums-equivalent available?
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted February 8, 2017 Moderators Share Posted February 8, 2017 No, there's not one that's 100% compliant. The best you can do is probably to find the thing that works for you that has the fewest non-compliant ingredients in it. I'd strongly recommend keeping a food log as well, and noting if your symptoms are worse or better at different times -- that may help you narrow down if there are particular foods that trigger your symptoms more. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, could be a journal you write in, or a document on your phone or computer, or a log here in the Whole30 Log section of the forum, or whatever format works for you.
