Do I need to start over?!

So while looking online for foods that are legumes to start reintroduction....I am having a huge panic attack seeing peas on the list. I don't know how I missed this!!!! I ate about 1/2 cup of peas for dinner on either day 28 or 29 (I can't remember) and now am feeling very guilty. Do I need to restart??

First, don't feel guilty -- most people do make a mistake at some point during a Whole30. It isn't like you beat someone up and stole their peas to eat, you ate a food that looked healthy because you didn't realize it was against the rules. Not a thing to feel guilty about.

Having said that, they definitely are not compliant, and your body doesn't know whether you ate something non-compliant accidentally or intentionally, it reacts the same either way. Have a look at this article, and then decide for yourself how you want to go forward.
