Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted April 9, 2017 Moderators Share Posted April 9, 2017 Roast beef sounds good for a main... check out www.meljoulwan.com for amazing sides... she's got a great green bean recipe and a really nice squash casserole... google 'crash potatoes' for a fun take on double baked smashed potatoes that would be good with roast beef. Really, whatever you used to make for easter (aside from ham) is a good starting point and then just hack the recipes to make them compliant. No yorkshire pudding tho
30days
If you're planning on making roast beef... this recipe: Crockpot Roast Beef I've made it so many times. It's fantastic! Served it last night with mashed sweet potatoes and coleslaw.
NoMoreCrunchyCravings
What about rosemary roasted potatoes, roast whole chicken, steamed asparagus, sautéed Brussels sprouts, grilled onions. My normal foods all seem like they might be good for a family meal, holiday or not.
Carol
Roast Duck. Many large grocery stores sell them frozen. Buy one soon as they can take 48 hours or more to thaw under refrigeration. If the duck is packaged with an orange sauce, discard the sauce. Chances are, its not compliant http://www.mapleleaffarms.com/265?recipe=297&reccat=
