Question regarding "Best Choice Brand Chunk Light Tuna" in a pouch. Looking for a MOD response.

Contains: Tuna (Fish)

I am questioning the Vegetable Broth as some are saying it "may" contain peas, however, that is not listed at all on the package, and no one has written the company to confirm to my knowledge. Now, my understanding is that if it is not listed in the ingredients list, it is fine. I believe this to be compliant, others disagree.

What is the official consensus?

Some people are saying the vegetable broth contains 'peas'??  Usually the concern with broth is that it contains soy, however that has to be listed so if no soy is listed, then there's no problem.

Thank you, Sugarcube That was my thought as well. Soy is typically the concern for tuna!

As always, read the labels on anything you're intending to buy, it could be compliant today and not tomorrow... food manufacturers are notorious for changing their recipes by region and even just by season/time... it's often fiscally driven (add in fillers = cheaper to make, more money to be had)...
