I started Whole 30 for a few reasons; sleep being a top one.  I have never been a good sleeper.  I fall asleep very easy, but I am restless and sleep lightly.  I wake up tired and groggy. This is day 15 and nothing in the sleep arena has changed.  We have a strict bedtime schedule at our house; with four kids its not an option to not have a routine!  I read on other threads about adding more fat to my plate, I did that last week. I use topical magnesium.  There has to be something I'm missing. I just want to sleep 8 hours and wake up feeling rested!!

Thank you for the articles.  I feel like I am doing all these things.  Perhaps a more comfortable bed and scale back screen time by another hour.  I run or walk 3-6 miles daily, so I don't think lack of exercise is it. I just want to sleep deep.  Also, I wake up naturally between5 530, should I get up when I first naturally wake? Thank you again!
