margaritagirl
I want to make the Sunshine sauce for the Thai salad in the book. It calls for unsweetened sunflower seed butter. Is there a substitution for this? I just don't think I'll use it for anything else and wonder if buying the jar would be a waste. Any suggestions? Thank you Lots of people use almond butter - it might be a bit sweeter, depending on your almond butter but the solution to that is more lime and more salt... make it per the recipe and then add until you are happy with the flavor

Thank you How about using a mortar and pestle to make a small batch? I made some Tahini (sesame seed paste) for a recipe this way instead of buying a whole bottle.
