paleopina
Hello, I discovered a new product and I'd like to know if it's Whole30 compliant. It's Pistachio Butter + Cashew made by Nutraw Butter. I've included a link to the product. http://nutrawfoods.com/organic-pistachio-cashew-butter Thanks! Moderators ShannonM816 Posted September 5, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 5, 2017 Yes, this is fine. Remember that nuts and seeds are not the best choice for fats, as the omega-3 to omega-6 ratio is not great, and that they are very easy to overeat. Pay attention to how this affects you as far as if you find yourself eating it straight out of the jar or eat a lot more than a thumb-sized portion at a time. paleopina
So Vanilla Bean is OK? Also, the website says it has 2g of sugars; my little tub says it has 1g. That may be a typo but where is the sugar coming from? Thanks.

That may be a typo but where is the sugar coming from? This won't be a typo. Nuts have naturally occuring sugars. You need to be concerned with ADDED sugars though, so if this is on the ingredients label then this product is off limits. If this is listed in the nutritional info then you're good to go.
