ElisaMustEat
Was disheartened to learn canned (or bagged) tuna contains soy. Where does it come from? Is there a source that does not contain soy?
jmcbn
There are definitely sources out there that are compliant, but the specific brands will depend on your location. It's actually been discussed quite a bit on the forums. The best way to search is via Google using the term Whole30 + your query so in this case maybe try: Whole30 tuna soy Hope this helps! frogtox
The cans I've seen have said "vegetable broth" which probably contains soy. It is what derailed my Whole30 last time. Good on you for reading! There are more expensive brands of tuna that have no soy. And, those that are packed in oil.
laura_juggles
You don't even have to go the expensive route. I get canned tuna from Walmart on the cheap. The low- or no-sodium kind is actually packed in water as opposed to broth.
