FrannyofFondy
I am in Day 3 and experiencing a growling stomach. Don't know how and if I should eat a small snack. I'm so nervous that it will compromise the program. Day 1 I ate some almonds and Day 2 I had a banana. Today I had a 1/4 cup of albacore tuna w/avocado mayo & olives. Is this OK??? I am an active person (running, volleyball, swimming) so I want to maintain my activity level. HELP!!
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted September 13, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 13, 2017 If you're hungry, eat. It's better to have a combo of protein, fat, and vegetables, or at least two of the three, rather than just fruit or nuts on their own If you're consistently hungry between meals, your meals may not be big enough. Take another look at the meal template and try to match it, or if you want more feedback, post a day or two of meals here, including approximate portion sizes, and we can see if anything stands out that might help. Also, don't forget that on days you work out, your pre- and post-workout meals are in addition to your other three meals. You can download the meal template here: https://whole30.com/pdf-downloads/
FrannyofFondy
Thank you for the advice. I have been making Whole30 compliant dishes but not combining them into a "meal" and definitely have been light on the fats. This was helpful!
