Seana H
I am completing my first Whole30 in a few days. I have LOVED it and plan on staying on plan with the exception of a bit of sweetener in my coffee. I don't want to go back to the high-calorie sugar free non-dairy French creamer that I was consuming at least a 1/4 cup of a day! I love the primal creamer I've been making and just want to add a little sweet to it. Otherwise, no sugar for me. What is best for this? Stevia, Raw Sugar? Thanks for the advice! CAK911
Well, I think it depends with what you mean by "best." I've seen mods say that Whole9 doesn't recommend "less bad" options, so you should pick one and enjoy it. Stevia is low calorie, but that doesn't mean better, and it does have a pretty distinctive flavor. Honey and raw sugar are less processed, but I think your body just treats sugar as sugar. Honey does have some other benefits with regards to allergens and stuff, though, so that might be an advantage. Basically, I think it depends what your priorities are and what matters to you. praxisproject
Has anyone found much difference between different kinds of sugars? Honey, coconut sugar, white sugar, palm sugar, etc?
