Pinned that one. I ended up steaming the chard and wrapping it around my spiced lamb meatballs with a little fig compote in each (recipe for meatballs/compote from Practical Paleo).

Chard wrapped meatballs with fig compote sounds wonderful!

I got leeks in my box last week and didn't know what to do with them. Did some searching and made this soup today. http://paleodietlifestyle.com/leek-and-sweet-potato-soup/

Very tasty and I hope will help kick this cold to the curb once and for all.

On a sadder note: got an email today that I will not be getting yams in my box this week. :-(

Over the weekend my husband and I tag teamed our turnips. I made 'fritters' out of the root part by shredding them, salting them, squeezing out the liquid and then mixing them with an egg. I pan-fried them in batches in bacon fat and dusted with salt and pepper...yum!

My husband took all the greens, cleaned them and then made this recipe. I had him sub lard for the olive oil and he put too much red pepper in it for my tastes but in general, it was very tasty. We'll definitely be making these two things again!

Catherine, those both sound so good. I just made Whole Foods Kale salad for the third time today. So good. I am on tapatalk so cant link it but if you Google Whole Foods Garlicky Kale by Eating For Birds it will pop up.
