  1. Greetings! I'm new to this place but not new to the W30. I've successfully completed it twice before and it helped my health and well being a lot! But .... I've fallen off track again over the past few years, so here I am again, starting over. About me: 45 years old. Generally in good health besides my crappy diet. What I want: More ENERGY. I feel tired all the time. I know my crappy diet is a huge factor. Also hoping to drop a few pounds, but how I feel is more important. My plan is to keep it simple. Lots of grilled meat and veggies, eggs, nuts, potatoes, salads. Logging

  2. Amazing job on the walking! I dug out my old fitbit, too and started wearing it - but I just noticed that it seems a bit dodgy and is only counting about half my steps. I'm trying to justify a replacement!

  3. Morning all! Well, of course I did end up waking up early but after serious thought remembered I really hate working out in the morning, lol. So I had a leisurely morning and will get some exercise in at lunch or after work. But there WILL be exercise!! Vertigo is present this morning right from the start, which is irksome. I also have a headache. Thank goodness I kept a diary last round or I'd be feeling really let down! Gotta push through to that 2-3 week period. (Sorry, I know it seems like I harp on about this, but keeping these day to day logs of symptoms has been so valuable f

  5. OMG, the Tuscan Chicken is AMAZING!! I really didn't expect it to be this awesome. I'm very impressed, and so was the hubster! Took a big walk with the doggo today, and I'm planning on getting up earlier to get a 30 minute elliptical or a couch 25k in on the mornings the hubster has to get up early for meetings. I had a chat to my BFFs tonight over video, and it was lovely, but one of them was a zero exercise person pre-lockdown and now is running 10ks, and we chatted about how it's just routine and there are no excuses at the moment, and she's right! I used to be pretty fit, and I hate

Day 5: 8/19/20 – Woke up too early today, and probably undereating overall. Just time to go to bed & start fresh. The day was fine - took my youngest to the office with me so that he could get some school work done and finally meet my Irish Setter workmates. It’s peaceful there. He liked it.

  7. Day 3 Wednesday August 19, 2020 M1: greens, eggs and ham, sweet potato M2: l/o steak in romaine salad with tomatoes, avocado, fresh herbs, PK balsamic vinaigrette M3: burger on a lettuce bun with onions, roasted white potatoes, green beans NSV: I didn't snack between meals NSV: I managed to get 3 x 30 minutes of walking in again today. I'm stiff and sore but looking forward to being in better physical shape soon. I found my old FitBit and charged it up last night, then walked 16,674 steps today . My energy was a bit better today but my sleep last night was ter

Day 19 I've been tired all day from yesterday but was still up at 5 because there is no such thing as sleeping in for me. ugh 6 am Japan call went well but that seemed to drain all my brain's ability for the day so I'm not even sure what else I accomplished. I've been on auto pilot. I do at least have cashews soaking on the counter to make milk tomorrow. Breakfast- chicken with the last of the nut/seed sauce and zucchini-yellow squash soup. Lunch- hot dogs and sauerkraut! I specifically got whole30 approved hot dogs to properly enjoy the sauerkraut I just made. Din
