Yes, it's important to keep good things to eat on hand so you don't go to long without food. The cravings come to everyone but we can help ourselves a lot with thinking ahead and planning.

I haven't come to the site for a while but here we are on day #18 of the Whole 30. Over half way through the program and I am still going strong:) No cheating but there have been many opportunities. I know I can do this and keep telling myself that. Like it says in the book....WE CAN DO THIS. I think it's important to see ourselves the way we want to be and to speak positive things into our lives every day. It won't be very much longer and day 30 will be here and we can all celebrate our success:) We have been eating all our meals at home so we decided to take our budgeted money we had for eating out and buy something useful. We bought a 3 gal fermentation crock and are excited about putting it to use making sauerkraut and vegies.

Hi there, We have made the standard mayo listed in the Whole 30 book and it was great. We both thought it was the best mayo we tasted. We used a hand blender stick to blend and we used Avacado oil. My wife and I started Oct1st.

I am starting my 8th day of the program and it has been going great. Starting this Monday I will be having a job where I will have to pack my lunch. I would appreciate any ideas as to what to bring for a lunch on the road. Thanks everyone and lets do this.

Today is day 4 of the Whole 30. I am doing great and no slip ups . I'm feeling better at time goes on and it makes you want to commit to finishing the program. I went to sams club today and had to take another route to avoid all the sample carts...lol I wish everyone the best.

The sugar dragon. isn't that the truth. You don't realize how much it has a grip on you till you do without it. I'm glad that the cravings will decrease as time goes on and we starve the dragon:)

Hello Fellow Whole 30'ers.... Here we are on day 2 of Whole 30. Day one went great. This morning I also passed a temptation when I walked past a plate of donuts at church. Yeah !! Yesterday my wife and I made the basic mayonnaise in the Whole 30 cookbook and WOW.....we both agreed that it was the best mayo that we had tasted. We made it using the Avocado oil and blended it with an immersion hand blender. I think we will try it next time using Olive oil due to the face that Avocado oil is a little pricy. We paid $8 for a 16 oz bottle at Trader Joes. Maybe the olive oil will be good also I will have to test it out. I wish all of you the best on your journey to better living. None of us are going to starve.....We CAN do this.

Anyone have advice on learning to run?
LincolnDan replied to ThyPeace's topic in Whole30 for athletes
It's good to hear about the progress you are making. Keep up the good work. You will never be sorry you did. -
I made the recipe in the whole 30 book " Poached eggs over Salmon with hollandaise sauce and it was wonderful. I also used my spirilizer and used sweet potatoes and then sprayed them with olive oil and baked them at 400 degrees.
