    Feb Reset - anyone?

@karo1500 Did you get around to making some food that excites you? I'm unable to do the "perfect" Whole30 - I do have a handful (or 2) of nuts here and there...I feel like this is a cleanse more than anything. At the beginning of each reset, I put so much focus on losing weight but I've recently changed my thoughts on that. I truly want to live eating a balanced diet and feed my body properly. I've kicked the "skinny model" thoughts aside and I'm just going with what I feel most comfortable with. Of course all my food are still compliant and I'm not recreating treats, but if I'm in need of a snack, I'll go for it. How are you doing? I'm on Day 22!!! Time is flying by! I'm trying the below recipe tonight...so excited! http://soletshangout.com/roasted-kabocha-squash-carrot-ginger-soup-with-lamb-meatballs/

    Feeling Discouraged at Day 21

@AudreyRL406 I'm feeling the same - this is my second Whole30 and I see no physical change...however, I think we have to view this as a long term change in our behaviour leading to a better and healthier lifestyle. Keep our heads up and I'm positive that our bodies will change over time! Good luck!

Day 17 - feeling the difference! Woke up with Tiger Blood this morning, so I started the day with double session, Abs & Arms resistance, and a T25! Stomach is completely back to normal, not bloated anymore, seriously, I feel great today! Just have to keep it up for 13 more days then here comes a proper reintroduction

    Feb Reset - anyone?

@karo1500 I feel ya! I was totally getting bored with roasts...so I looked up some simple recipes and the ones that I really enjoyed were; 1) avocado pesto - I put it on my veg or chicken 2) homemade thai curry paste (green) - I made a sauce with coconut milk or as a stir fry paste in vegetables! 3) oxtail stew, served with cauliflower rice 4) salad - tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, avos - topped with salt, pepper, and lemon juice (sometimes I add chili flakes or powder in as well, I love spicy food!) I think sometimes prepping and cooking is time consuming so we stick to the same thing over and over again. I'm now on Day 15! Feeling extra hungry today!!

@fitnnhealthy I'm sorry to hear about unexpected things happening...it can be hard sometimes. Honestly, I think you shouldn't push yourself to the end if the Whole30 places more stress on what you're already going through. It's not worth it. You might feel better if you relax a little... I "think" I'm not as bloated AND I feel more in control of my diet now after 2 weeks. I hope that I continue to do so. Don't stress too much! I do hope you will stick it though with me but I also understand that Whole30 can be a lot of work! Do whatever is best for you, we can always do another reset together further down the road!
  7. @Kmac56 I had troubles sleeping the first time around too! My stomach wasn't great either...but second round seems to be a lot better. I consume less starchy veg and that seems to help. Did you notice positive changes?

    Feb Reset - anyone?

@fitnnhealthy That's awesome!! I'm glad we both pushed through! We are almost half way through however, I think I'll extend it for a week or so...because I snacked during the first 5 days. Are you finishing on March 2?

    Feb Reset - anyone?

I had the urge to give up over the weekend but I didn't...I really wanted a nice cup of cappuccino and to go out for some local Thai dinner with my family. I fought it off and stayed compliant! I realized that whenever I lack sleep or I'm sick, I want BAD food...anyone else feel that way? How is everyone doing?

    2nd whole30 - harder???

@Mhh123 good luck Michelle! I'm currently doing my second round - on day 13. I had the urge to give up over the weekend but I won't! I'm made a promise and a commitment to myself, I have to see it through and get back on track! I also need to stop comparing myself to when I first finished my Whole30, I did so well, I saw physically changes as well. Then birthday, Christmas, New Year, family visits, Chinese New Year happened...I ate terribly for 2 months and now I'm worse than pre first reset Anyway, we got this! Sara
  11. @Dave Ford Hi Dave! I'm currently doing my second reset. I didn't feel any tiger blood during my first Whole30 and only felt better once I got off the program. I was tired and low on energy, all workouts were "average"! I think I wasn't eating enough...but this time around, I am eating more and energy level seems to be better. However, my body isn't changing as much as last round.

@karo1500 haha! I love the comment about...half a bag of nuts later! It happens so fast...next thing you know, my whole body is heating up due to all the fat and energy, AND my stomach is solid I packed the remaining nuts in a container for my partner to take to work as a snack, now, the house is nut free! No more temptation! I had the strangest dream last night - breaking my Whole30 with alcohol and gummy bears I've been wanting some sort of grainy or corny carb! But fought it off with a lovely plate last night. My partner cooked green curry pork chops with cauliflower rice!

    Feb Reset - anyone?

@foursimplewords I plan on extending mine by a week or so, we should be ending at the same time!! @hmg1993 THANK YOU!! Ha...my go to...is often just leftover roast (chicken, pork, beef) with veg - or like last night when we didn't have that much around, I just tossed together cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, salt, pepper, lemon juice - AND a couple handful of nuts (so naughty!) By the way - do you have a exercise routine to go with your Whole30?

    Feb Reset - anyone?

Hi All!! Thanks for all the posts! @hmg1993 - I must confess...I had a really bad craving for nuts on Saturday and I went out and got LOTS - cashews, almonds, and pistachios! BAD IDEA - I ended up eating my weight of nuts and had stomach issues afterwards...OOPS! The dinner you posted sounds really good! I need to try that! My partner is always stressed about cooking Whole30 but I feel like...just as long as we put compliant foods in a pan, we're all good! He tends to try and get fancy... Hehe...any other meal ideas? @exercisegirl I know how you feel! I've been eating my way through Christmas, family visits, and Chinese New Year! My body is in shock! But we got this! Today should be your 6th day - how are you doing? @foursimplewords are you going for another Whole30? @karo1500 Hi there! Are you feeling better now? What caused the stomach issues? I feel like the older I get, the weaker my stomach is...not cool! My reset is ok but it's not the best that it can be. I might extend it a little longer because I hit a rough patch with nuts over the weekend and felt OUT OF CONTROL! But I'm feeling ok again emotionally to hop back onto my wagon @Gramma Susie Welcome!!! How are you doing? I'm so happy that we have so many people here sharing our journey!

    Feb Reset - anyone?

@gmaepack good luck this time!! How far did you get each time? I'm so happy to have people on the same schedule! @foursimplewords Day 28!! Still pretty good! Did you break it with a proper treat? @hmg1993 I love nuts as well, that's why I can't really start, it's a trigger for me. I can probably down a cup or 2 each time if I start... it's so bad. Sometimes I have no self control... as for sugar, I pretty much cut out all fruit, I find that if I don't consume sugar, I don't crave it. My first Whole30 was great though my "flu" stage was really long and didn't have much of the tiger blood. I think I wasn't following the template right either. Will try and be better at it this time but I find that some days I'm REALLY hungry but other days I just don't feel like eating... did you ever have the same issue?
